This apple fabric would have to be some of my favorite, and can you believe it, I think I have finally reached the bottom of my supply. Such a shame indeed. I will treasure these few items of clothing!
A shirt for Maeve for the cooler Autumn days to come.
Yep, its another Ottobre. From issue 6/2008.
For some reason my shirring turned out really tight, can anyone give me any tips on this?
And 6 more pairs of undies to use up what would have been useless scraps.
I can't believe I have now made 18 pairs of knickers! I mean, who does that??
Seriously though, my kids look way too cute in these!

I LOVE the undies! Super cute :)
Gosh your knit sewing is amazing! As for the shirring, what was your stitch length set to? I usually have mine on 5 for a looser shir or on 3.5 for a tight shir.
thanks girls!
Samantha, I had the stitch length on 4 (longest on my machine), it was just that the elastic seem to be pulled really tight. So I wound it looser on the bobbin, but still had issues. I also used the walking foot, which made it a little better. Maybe it's just my machine. I had so many trial runs on scrap fabric!
Why do I love everything you make? Seriously.
Looks great Naomi! I bought the apples and strawberries fabric on the clearance table last year and still haven't made anything using it yet. I think I have 5 metres of it!! It is so hard to find cute fabric so I bought that much of it.
Beautiful blog, beautiful creations and of course beautiful children! These little undies are fab. My little one will be ready for trainers soon. Can't wait to find this pattern and get sewing!
