two of a kind

Yep, I have totally overstepped my boundaries on this one, and given in to the real nerd inside. The girls have mama made matching outfits (oh, how painful!). The thing is, they like dressing the same, and to be honest it is so much more time efficient sewing two of the same outfit...I didn't have to change the thread on my machine once!
The pants are 'Kim' pants from Farbenmix, and the tops are from Ottobre 6/2008...slightly different designs. One has shirring on the sleeves, and the other across the chest. Maeve's top is actually the same pattern as the apple shirt in the post below.

Oh My! The girls look stunning. I love that pink camo! And the flares on those pants are so cute.

I think I say this every time I comment on your blog but I'm happy to say it again..... You sew so beautifully! Those pants look AMAZING and the tops of course are gorgeous and the girls wearing even cuter still :) Hope you're feeling great!

Wow, those pants are amazing! I've never attempted a zipper fly and yours are seamless! I'm very impressed. Cute.

thanks ladies!
Dana, there is no zip in the pants, I did a mock fly instead...too chicken to attempt a real zip! I don't think they are that necessary in kids pants anyway. I just copied a mock fly in other jeans the girls wear:)

They look great - might have to look at getting that pattern - Amelia is in need of new jeans and this would be perfect (I cant get jeans that fit here - she is too short in the leg!)
