I just finished knitting FIVE of these! Great, easy pattern. Just a tip if you're interested - I knitted mine in the round to avoid any seaming. The pattern is symmetrical - so just knit the back and front at the same time and 3 needle bind off at the middle of the crotch. Easy enough! I also picked up stitches around the leg holes to make little ribbed legs (to prevent any leaks). They turned out SUPER adorable! I also found her gauge tended to be a little large so I knit the last couple a little tighter (especially the ribbing - which I used a smaller sized needle and knit in twisted rib). That fixed all the problems and can't wait to use them. They are all lanolized and ready to go.
Have fun!

adorable little soaker! What book is it from?

Thanks for your hints with the soaker Sarah! Unfortunately my knitting skills aren't that great...I am yet to try knitting in the round. I might have to try that second time around.
I thought the ribbing looked loose in the picture, so I have done that on smaller needles which I think will turn out much better. I hope you get lots of use out of yours!

Lis, the pattern is from 'Vintage Baby Knits' by Kristen Rengren. Love this book! Only wish I was better at knitting so I could make more use of it:)

What a rich beautiful colour it makes me think of the leaves on all the trees at the moment.
